Artificial intelligence (AI) is now an integral part of our everyday lives. Young people in particular already use AI as a matter of course - whether AI chatbots for communication, AI search engines for school and everyday matters or AI avatars for social media or games. However, AI not only offers opportunities, but also risks: Deepfakes, disinformation, idealized beauty standards by AI influencers and the feared loss of creativity or jobs.
AI has the potential to profoundly change our world. This poses important questions for society and young people: to what extent do we humans want and are we allowed to allow technology to determine us? What ethical questions arise here? How are developments in the field of AI already being regulated today?
All these aspects are addressed in the new teaching material from klicksafe in cooperation with the FSM. The topics are dealt with in 6 low-threshold teaching projects and young people are asked to form their own opinions about AI and its challenges.
After a brief introduction to the topic of AI in the everyday lives of young people, examples of lessons from the material will be presented.
The teaching material will be available to order and download from January 22, 2026: www.klicksafe.de/kiandme
