AI in everyday child and youth work

Further training (Online)

Wednesday, 2nd of April 2025
09:00 to 13:00

Target group(s)

Educational professionals working with children and young people

Young people are often quicker enthusiasts when it comes to using new technologies. It is therefore particularly important for professionals in out-of-school child and youth work to engage intensively with AI, gain their own experience and develop pedagogical approaches.

The seminar is divided into two parts:  On the first morning, we will look at the basics, in particular prompting. We will also show what contributions artificial intelligence can make to support professionals in their day-to-day office work, e.g. when writing technical reports, specialist texts or minutes.

On the second morning, we will focus on practical work in child and youth work. The aim is to promote media education skills through the active and reflective use of AI and to teach children and young people how to use it. A critical discussion from an ethical perspective also plays an important role here.

Speaker: Felix Rudolph-von Niebelschütz, qualified social pedagogue / media educator
