Deepfakes in election campaigns or AI-generated misanthropic content: Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in the context of hate and hate speech, extremism and disinformation. The rapid pace of technological development has also led to new manifestations of AI use, such as virtual influencers who spread problematic ideas on social media.

In the new edition of the 'Insights' online format, jugendschutz.net presents current phenomena and trends in the use of AI for hate and propaganda purposes and is available to answer questions.

About the "Insights" event series

With 'Insights', jugendschutz.net provides insights into current trends, developments and findings on hate, hate speech and extremist propaganda on the internet. Especially with regard to threats to children and young people growing up well in the online world.

The individual events are online video events and consist of 20 to 30-minute presentations followed by an opportunity for questions and discussions.

"Insights" is aimed at professionals working to prevent extremism and combat hate online, in education and youth work and in youth media protection. However, other interested parties such as educators are also cordially invited.
