The debate over digital sovereignty continues to gain prominence in Europe: How can we promote democratic resilience in the age of algorithmic black boxes and AI-generated deepfakes? What AI skills are needed to achieve this? Look forward to a diverse program featuring a specialist conference, a marketplace, interactive masterclasses, AI showcases, and improvisational theater. You can expect high-caliber presentations and panel discussions, including sessions with Federal Minister of Justice Dr. Stefanie Hubig, Minister President Gordon Schnieder, Prof. Dr. Andreas Dengel, Executive Director of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), and Prof. Dr. Mandy Schiefner-Rohs, Vice President of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.

As part of the 5th Southwest Media Triennial, the Southwest Media Education Research Network will also present study results on young people’s media usage behavior in the field of AI.
