Raffle for the SID 2025

Take part in the SID and win a klicksafe workshop!

February 11, 2025 is Safer Internet Day, the global day of action for a safer and better Internet. We are calling on everyone to take part with their own campaigns. Join in and actively help to protect children and young people online! What's new: In 2025, you can register and organize campaigns throughout February for the first time. Promote media literacy in your area directly and immediately with your campaign. Once you have registered, we will publish the information on klicksafe.de and draw attention to your commitment to Safer Internet Day.

As a school, youth facility, administration or company, you can use SID25 for your own projects relating to digital media and the Internet.

Would you like to take part but don't yet have a brilliant idea for an activity? Our suggestions and materials can help.

We are giving away 3 klicksafe workshops

If you register a SID campaign with us as a school or children's and youth facility, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw. Regardless of whether you take up our main topic "No likes for lies" or register your own topic on online safety and media literacy. The draw among all participants will take place at the end of February. In consultation with the winners, the workshops can take place throughout 2025 from March to mid-December.

The workshop content will revolve around the two focus topics of SID25: extremism and deepfakes. How do I recognize deception and manipulation online? What are the mechanisms behind it? How can I defend myself against it? These are just some of the key questions that we will explore with the children and young people in around 90 minutes.

Register your SID campaign now and win a klicksafe workshop. Good luck!

Legal: The winners will be notified by e-mail at the end of February and announced on the klicksafe website. All participants must be based in Germany. Legal recourse is excluded. klicksafe reserves the right to decide on participation in the prize draw in cases of doubt. Direct partners of the EU initiative klicksafe and the Rhineland-Palatinate Media Authority are excluded from the prize draw.

We are there!

"Safer Internet Day is a great platform to raise awareness of the importance of media literacy and digital safety. We are delighted to be a part of it and actively contribute."

Sarina Rosenhauer, AWO Stadtverband Neumünster e.V.

"Safer Internet Day is a particularly valuable and important event, especially in times when children and young people often have unlimited access to the internet. It offers the opportunity to deal intensively with current topics that are relevant to the individual year groups and are often neglected in normal lessons.

As a school with iPad classes, topics such as data protection and cyber security are essential for us. The time we invest on Safer Internet Day has always paid off. Since we regularly offer projects on this occasion, the 'digital' problems have been significantly reduced."

Jan Bartelmeß, Integrated Comprehensive School Wollenbergschule Wetter
