On the occasion of the new elections to the German Bundestag, the Bildungsmediathek NRW offers the topic-specific media collection "Elections in the digital age", in which teachers can find films, digital worksheets, educational games, didactic handouts and media packages for all types of schools. In addition, there are selected materials for inclusive teaching as well as for teaching in simple language.

In this free online event, teachers have the opportunity to get to know the Bildungsmediathek NRW and the topic-specific offerings for democracy education in the context of "Elections in the digital age".

Background information:

The Bildungsmediathek NRW is the portal for teaching-relevant multimedia content for teachers and educational specialists in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to freely accessible learning materials, the offer includes educational films with additional material, explanatory videos, documentaries and feature films, interactive materials, learning games and didactic handouts.

The portal is constantly being expanded to include quality-tested learning materials and educational media. The latter are acquired by the municipal media centers at local and state level as well as through state funding from the Ministry of Schools and Education NRW and can be accessed via a personal account.

The Bildungsmediathek NRW is supported by the Medienberatung NRW, a contractual cooperation between the Ministry of Schools and Education of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Landschaftsverbände Rheinland and Westfalen-Lippe, in cooperation with the municipal media centers in North Rhine-Westphalia.
