TikTok has long been more than just a platform for dance videos and challenges - it is a place where millions of people consume content every day. But how does the algorithm that draws us deeper and deeper into the so-called "rabbit hole" work? And what impact does this have on children, young people and adults?

In this event, we take a look behind the scenes of the platform:

For kids and teens: Learn how TikTok affects you and how you can use your time there consciously.

For parents and teachers: Understand what mechanisms TikTok uses to personalize content and how you can support children and young people in dealing critically with social media.

We will shed light on the opportunities and risks of TikTok and talk about topics such as data security, the potential for addiction and the dissemination of problematic content. Together, we will develop strategies for using the platform in a healthy and reflective way.

Join us and learn how we can all navigate the digital world more consciously!
