The red sofa: impulses for a new media culture
A special edition for Safer Internet Day 2025

As part of Safer Internet Day 2025, the TLM's Thuringian Media Education Center in Gera is presenting the TV magazine show "Das rote Sofa: Impulse für eine neue Medienkultur". The show will be broadcast nationwide on cable television via the Thuringian learning channel labor14 and will be available as a live internet stream.

Together with leading experts from the fields of media education, art and political education, the program will shed light on current issues relating to media education and the digital transformation. Under this year's Safer Internet Day motto "Together for a better internet", we will discuss the challenges and opportunities that digital technologies bring for our society, education and culture.

Moderator Lene Schargitz, a freelance journalist from Berlin, invites exciting guests to the red sofa, including
