Dear parents,
We cordially invite you to our digital parents' evening, which will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 6:30 pm.

This parents' evening is being organized as part of Safer Internet Day 2025 with the motto: "No likes for lies!" in cooperation with the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb). Together, we want to raise awareness among young people and parents about how to recognize and protect themselves from disinformation, fake news and manipulative content online.

An expert from the field of journalism will explain how disinformation is spread in a targeted manner, what to look out for in order to recognize it and to what extent social media such as TikTok or Instagram are suitable as information platforms.

In addition, an experienced media educator will give practical tips and answer the following questions, among others:
- What should children and young people know about social media before and while they use it as a source of information?
- How can you as parents support your children in using social media safely?
- What role does artificial intelligence play in reporting?

Of course, there will be plenty of time for your individual questions and an open exchange with our experts.
Reserve this date and join us!

Together, we will create an informative and interactive evening that will empower and support you in guiding your children through the digital world.

We look forward to seeing you!
