Podcast "Of people and media" special episode "No likes for lies" on SID 2025

Fabian Jauss is a teacher at a Waldorf school in Stuttgart, albeit as a career changer. He is originally a communications scientist and has worked in PR and advertising for a long time.
In the podcast, he talks about his teaching project on the so-called "incubator lie", a disinformation campaign organized by a PR agency that was a decisive factor in the USA's involvement in the second Iraq war. Based on this event, he develops strategies with students to recognize disinformation and fakes online and deal with them confidently. In the talk with host Elke Dillman, he talks about his experiences with different classes.
