Franckeplatz 1
06110 Halle (Saale)
On February 13, 2025, on the occasion of Safer Internet Day 2025, the leisure facilities of the Francke Foundations in Halle (Saale) will offer two workshops for children and young people together with the media mobiles of the Saxony-Anhalt Media Authority in cooperation with the Saxony-Anhalt Media Competence Network Office. The focus will be on internet safety, media literacy and raising awareness of the critical use of social media.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., everything will revolve around the safe and creative use of the Internet at the Krokoseum children's creative center. Here, children aged 8 to 12 can learn how to find reliable information on the internet, what to look out for when searching for images and how to protect their own image rights. They also learn what to look out for when protecting social media profiles. Afterwards, the young people can put their new knowledge into practice creatively. In small groups, they can create small digital products such as posters, comics or even short stop-motion films. The workshop is not only fun, but also helps children to use the internet safely and responsibly.
