MIGRApolis FAKE NEWS - INFO-Table: The news is fake - the discomfort is real! - How to deal competently with disinformation in everyday practice

Since March 2024, MIGRApolis - Haus der Vielfalt Bonn and BIM e.V. have been running a pilot project on dealing competently with fake news specifically for professionals and volunteers in social work, youth/adult education and refugee aid.

The focus is on a flexible and practice-efficient approach for enlightened recognition, assessment and confrontation in everyday encounters with FAKE NEWS.

In addition to case-oriented advice and specific further training, there is a central offer in the INFO table, which gives professionals and interested parties the opportunity to exchange ideas and information on current developments and events on two dates a week.

Depending on the availability of places, the offer is also open to other interested parties and welcomes interested parties as part of SID 2025.

The program is funded by the City of Bonn and the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
