The world of computer games holds a great fascination for children and young people: they play on their smartphones, consoles or computers, watch videos about games and chat with their fellow players while playing. Parents are faced with the challenge of accompanying their children well, recognizing the potential as well as the dangers, strengthening their children and setting limits. Using the example of Fortnite, a popular game among children and young people, we want to talk about how we can address this part of the digital world of children and young people. It is important to empower children to deal with dangers and to reflect on their media usage behavior.
An event in cooperation between the adult education department of the Medienkulturzentrum, the Fachstelle Medienpädagogik Dresden and the Volkshochschule Dresden (VHS).
The event will take place online. Please register via this website. You will receive the link for participation by e-mail before the event.
Participation is free of charge.
