Can we still trust our eyes? Artificial intelligence and deepfakes in modern media

Pope Francis in a stylish down jacket? Obama and Merkel enjoying an ice cream together on the beach? Donald Trump is violently taken away by police officers? Putin kneels before the Chinese dictator Xi? Artificial intelligence plays a central role in today's digital world. They are not always only used for entertainment purposes. Some also use AIs and deepfakes to harm certain people or groups of people and also to spread hate on the internet or disinformation.
In our lecture in cooperation between the State Center for Political Education Saxony-Anhalt and Fairsprechen from fjp>media, you will learn about the basics of artificial intelligence, deepfakes and the opportunities and risks associated with these useful and dangerous tools.
