Fake news, lies, manipulation, conspiracy theory or (just) satire? False information has not only recently been put out into the world through social networks, keyword newspaper hoax. But with the internet, it is spreading rapidly and can shape opinions. Find out how long fake news has been around, how facts and images can be checked and take a look at our exhibition area "How does news get into the world?" and the possibilities of artificial intelligence.

We invite you to an online tour on Safer Internet Day. Museum educator Elke Schneider will give you an insight into the topic based on our exhibition. After registering, you will receive the access data for the event, which will take place via the video conferencing software Zoom via easyMeet24.
