False reports, chain letters, manipulated images & videos, deep fakes or conspiracy narratives... - even children encounter false reports, image manipulation or other forms of deception on the internet: Why is there so much lying online? How can we recognize what is true or false? And what can we do about it?

Train your media skills at the hands-on stations, solve quiz questions, manipulate photos and invent your own funny fake news. Do the fact check and talk to each other about lies online.

The activities are suitable both for families with children aged 8 and over who are not yet online independently and for older children who already surf the internet regularly on their smartphone or tablet. For adults, there is also in-depth background information and the odd tricky quiz question.
