The media project centers Offener Kanal (MOK) in Kassel and Rhein-Main are participating in this year's Safer Internet Day (SID) with a theme day in the TV program of the channels Offener Kanal (OK) Kassel and Offener Kanal (OK) Rhein-Main. From 6 p.m. and in the repeat from 10 p.m., the focus will be on this year's
SID focus topic "No likes for lies!".

At a time when disinformation, extremism, populism and deepfakes are a challenge, it is becoming increasingly important to deal critically with content. Across generations, people need skills to distinguish between truth and deception. The theme day in the TV program of the community broadcasters sheds light on these challenges from different perspectives and takes up the following content:
- Contributions and reports on recognizing disinformation
- Interviews with experts from the field of media education

- Practical tips for dealing with manipulative content online

The detailed TV program of the individual institutions is available at www.medienanstalt-hessen.de/medienprojektzentren-offener-kanal. Some films can also be viewed in the Hesse media library at www.mediathek-hessen.de.

The OC Rhein-Main can be found in the livestream via its website www.mok-rm.de and in the cable network at position 393. The OK Kassel is broadcast via www.mok-kassel.de and channel 392 on cable.
