Secret codes, traps and hidden dangers on social media

The real pros in the world of social media these days are kids and teenagers. Hardly anyone knows their way around TikTok, Instagram and the like as well as they do. But despite the funny memes, dance videos and emojis, there are also secret codes, traps and hidden dangers that only very few users are really aware of. Do you know your way around? Find out at Safer Internet Day 2025.

Program
After a joint welcome, the children/young people and adults go into a playful discussion on the topic separately. The results of the groups are then presented in plenary and supplemented by an interactive presentation.

Information
The event is aimed at children from the 7th grade, young people, their parents and educational professionals and takes place from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The venue is the rabatz youth center (Erlanger Straße 56a, 91074 Herzogenaurach). There will be free information material for all visitors to the event. Registrations must be made in advance as the number of visitors is limited. The registration deadline is 31.01.2025.
