On 26.02.2025, the symposium "Sexual assault in the digital space - empowering young people!" will take place at the University of Greifswald.
This symposium offers you:
- a discussion moderated by Dörthe Graner with Minister Simone Oldenburg, Minister Christian Pegel and Kerstin Claus (UBSKM),
- specialist lectures by renowned experts, including Julia von Weiler (qualified psychologist) and Gesa Gräfin von Schwerin (lawyer),
- workshops that develop practical solutions for everyday life in schools and other educational institutions,
- the opportunity to exchange ideas with other professionals and experts in the exhibitor area.
The increasing importance of digital communication brings with it both opportunities and challenges, especially for children and young people. Issues such as cybergrooming, sextortion and the misuse of images require active discussion and preventative approaches in order to empower and protect young people.
