Fake news is not only false reports, but often also deliberately spread disinformation. They can spread quickly due to the virality of social media. In this presentation, you will learn more about the reasons for the emergence of fake news, its mechanisms and its effects. The focus will be on methods for recognizing and strategies for combating fake news (source check, fact-checking, news literacy).
