Democracy education in digital media

Nowadays, fake news and hate messages spread very quickly via digital media. The minimum journalistic standard is rarely met. In addition, the topic is usually only presented from one point of view and there is often no other perspective.
A workshop on "Democracy education in the digital media" will be held at the Übergangshaus in Lübeck. Various presentations will take place on the main stage and there will be several small exhibition stands, e.g. for trying out an app.
Critical thinking and a democratic discourse on political and socio-political issues in Germany and the world are important so that the younger generation can independently question the content of fake news and hate messages.
