The "Data protection goes to school" initiative is using the campaign day as an opportunity to hold awareness-raising events at schools. In February, participating schools will be offered teaching units on the safe handling of personal data on the Internet. Around 500 pupils across Germany will be trained in simple rules of conduct on the Internet.
