Fakes and facts, opinions and hate speech - a flood of information and controversial discussions dominate everyday life on social media: it is often difficult to keep track. What is allowed to be said and what is not? Where does freedom of speech end and where does hate speech begin? And how can we develop trust in others - and in ourselves?
Here we get to the bottom of these questions. At various interactive stations, we will talk about how to deal responsibly with our own opinions, how to recognize populist content, hate and trolls and how important respect and trust are in communication.
This offer takes place as part of Safer Internet Day 2025 and is aimed at children and young people aged 12 and over as well as parents, socio-educational staff and companions.
An event in cooperation with the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb). Further information at www.bits21.de
