Safer Internet Day campaign day

After 2019, 2020 and 2024, the target group for the fourth campaign day is once again young people meeting older people who want to be "safe online, on their PC and with their cell phone".
Whether it's about the use of social media, questions about chatGPT and artificial intelligence or the protection of personal data, pupils from Werratalschule Heringen will present safe Internet use on PCs and cell phones to interested senior citizens in short, practical sessions at the school, providing relevant suggestions and answering questions. They will again be supported by representatives from netw@ys. Of course, there will also be plenty of opportunity for young and old to chat over a light snack after the sessions.

The new edition of the day of action starts at 13:00 in the Werratalschule Heringen with a short introduction and ends here at around 15:30. Participation is free of charge, but interested senior citizens must register by 03.02.2025 at the Hersfeld-Rotenburg Media Center on 06623 817-8000 or at t1p.de/SID2025Netways.
