"Send it over!" | Training on dealing with sensitive image content

The digital world offers numerous opportunities, but also harbors risks. Photos, videos or text messages are quickly sent or uploaded and spread at breakneck speed. Young people in particular often lack the subsequent awareness to develop a feeling for the consequences of sharing digital content carelessly.

As part of Safer Internet Day 2024 and in cooperation with the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Police Prevention Department, the Learning Center is offering a free training course for professionals from youth leisure facilities in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, to which we cordially invite you.

The aim of the event is to take an in-depth look at the topics of cyber violence, cybergrooming and sexting in the context of media education. This includes, among other things, focal points such as legal issues in the digital space and the teaching of safe and competent use of media.

The training not only provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges of the digital world, but also concrete skills for dealing with media. The training uses creative methods to create a practical space for an intensive exchange and the further development of media skills in the extracurricular education sector.
