United for Democracy - Economy.Community.Society.Science

The aim is to demonstrate approaches and formats for promoting democracy in, through and with companies. Be inspired and benefit from the expertise of our members. During the workshop day, there will be a presentation on "Participation in the corporate environment", the results of the study "Civil Society in Figures" will be discussed and the interactive format "Teaching democracy and media skills hand in hand" by the Rhineland-Palatinate Media Authority will be offered. Stefan Kühlein (Program Director Rhein-Neckar-Fernsehen) will guide you through the varied program.

We invite you to network and exchange ideas over a snack afterwards.

10:00 a.m. Welcome address by Prof. Dr. Gunther Piller (President of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences
for Business and Society), Birger Hartnuß (Head of the State Chancellery of Rhineland-Palatinate

10:15 a.m. Keynote: "Participation in an entrepreneurial environment" - Prof. Dr. Manoj
Gupte (Chair of Business Administration with a focus on International Management)

10:30 a.m. Presentation of the study: Monitor Unternehmensengagement 2025 - Dr. Peter
Schubert (Study Director), Head of Civil Society in Figures at the Stifterverband für
die Deutsche Wissenschaft e.V.

11:00 a.m. Moderated discussion with Manoj Gupte and Dr. Peter Schubert with
questions from the audience

12:00 p.m. Lunch / time for exchange
