"Let's play together" - gaming evening for parents with their children

On this year's Safer Internet Day, 10.02.2026, it's all about gaming! The Kreisjugendring, together with the youth center rabatz, participants of the AK Jugendmedienkompetenz, the Medienfachberatung für den Bezirk Mittelfranken and youth media protector Michael Posset, invites you to a special evening all about gaming.

Program
After an introduction to various games by young people - supplemented by interesting information from Paula Ludwig-Molitor from the media advisory service - the focus will be on trying them out for yourself. At several game stations, parents can test different games together with their children, exchange ideas and learn from each other. Afterwards, Michael Posset will shed light on the topic of gaming from an educational perspective in a specialist lecture: What fascinates young people about gaming? How can media use be well organized in the family? Finally, there will be an opportunity for an open exchange with experts and participants as well as some "tips to go" on the topic of gaming in everyday family life.

Note
The free event is aimed at children from the 5th grade, young people and their parents. The venue is the rabatz youth center. As the number of visitors is limited, interested parties must register for the information event. The registration deadline is 31.01.2026.
