In this event, we will take a critical look at our own online usage behavior and point out typical dangers online. We will address the following questions, among others:

How do subscription and advertising traps work and how can I recognize them?

How can I better protect my data and avoid cost traps?

We explain the basics of the General Data Protection Regulation in an understandable way and explain important terms such as "smart devices", "cookies" and "clickbaiting". We also provide practical tips on data security, how to recognize dubious offers and sensible protection and advertising settings.
