Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing schools and teaching, and we need to understand how it works, what it can do and where its limits lie. In this practical input as part of the SET at Erich Kästner Gemeinschaftsschule Barsbüttel, Johannes Karstens from OKSH shows how AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) work and the specific opportunities and challenges that arise for teachers, from lesson preparation and feedback to examinations and legal aspects.
He also takes a clear look at the changes in the media world for children and young people in terms of information media and social networks and provides valuable ideas on how schools and teachers can use these developments competently and thoughtfully.
An input that offers teachers orientation, concrete tools and practical insights. The media educators of the OKSH organize inputs and workshops throughout SH. Inquiries for your SET or other training courses via medienarbeit@oks.de
