AI and me - mini-workshops

There are information posters in seven different places in the school building with further information on the topic of "AI and me" (see appendix). On the posters, pupils will either find QR codes to further materials such as videos, websites and interactive applications or they will find further materials directly next to the posters, e.g. a comic or the 10 commandments of AI ethics. Parents will also receive the information brochure on "My child and AI - growing up with artificial proximity" in the weekly communication.

Topics of the 7 stations:

1) What is artificial intelligence?
AI has long been part of your everyday life, often without you even realizing it. Here you can find out what AI actually is, how it works and where you can find it on the internet, in apps and at school.

2) Recognize deepfakes yourself
Not everything that looks real is real. Test your intuition and find out how images, videos and voices are manipulated and how you can recognize fakes.

3) AI and me - feelings
Can an AI have feelings? Or trigger feelings? This is about how AI affects us, why we sometimes trust it and where caution is important.

4) 10 commandments of AI ethics
Just because something is technically possible doesn't mean it's right. Discover rules for a fair, responsible approach to AI and think about what is important to you.

5) AI and sustainability
AI can cause problems, but it can also offer solutions. Here you can see how AI affects the environment and climate and where it can help us to act more sustainably.

6) When influencers are not human
Some influencers are not real, but still very convincing. Find out how AI profiles influence opinions and why it's important to look closely.

7) Don't be a bot parrot!
Share, like, forward, but with brains. Here you will learn not to accept everything without checking it and to form your own opinion.
