#democracyinteractive - experience democracy and shape it creatively

Our #democracyinteractive workshop shows how important democratic values are in everyday life and especially in digital spaces. In an interactive group game, students experience how populist strategies work, how manipulation occurs and why critical thinking is essential for a strong democracy. Together, they discover how democratic decisions are made, what role cohesion plays and how each individual can actively contribute to an open society.
Based on these experiences, we use media education to reflect on how democratic values can be protected online and what responsibility everyone has online.
As a creative conclusion, the young people produce their own AI democracy song in which they record why democracy is important and what they themselves want to stand up for.
The workshop lasts 3 school hours. We are holding it on February 10 in 4 classes.
