Under the title "Care, code & cuddly toys", two discussion rounds will be held on the topic of friendship. In a cozy setting with a shared meal and a film, we will talk about closeness, care and mental well-being in an increasingly digital world.
Participants will explore why digital companions trigger care, how they influence their own well-being and what virtual closeness can mean. They will also discuss where the limits of such digital relationships lie and how both human and technology-mediated relationships can be shaped responsibly.
Objective: Reflection on care, closeness and mental well-being, discussion of virtual pets and AI-supported companions as well as strengthening self-awareness and the ability to assess digital relationships.
