klicksafe with events in Mainz and in Düsseldorf
klicksafe event in Mainz: Are we #OnlineAmLimit? Do digital devices, social media and apps determine our everyday life or are we still the ones who freely dispose of our free time? When does cell phone use become cell phone addiction and online gaming a health hazard? How can children and young people recognize addictions at an early stage and strengthen their digital well-being? These questions will be the focus of the event organized by klicksafe in cooperation with the Media Authority of Rhineland-Palatinate on February 7 at ZDF in Mainz. With Digital Detox workshops for young people and a subsequent panel discussion with experts from addiction research and media education, a content creator and people affected, we would like to discuss these questions together.
klicksafeevent in Düsseldorf: Under the motto "Between apps and dinner - How do families avoid the digital limit?" klicksafe is organizing an event for parents and young people on the eve of Safer Internet Day together with the Media Authority NRW. How do parents and their children deal with excessive media consumption (both) in everyday digital life and what practical solutions help to avoid arguments about media use in the family? What role do Instagram, TikTok or
YouTube actually play? What can these providers change to make it easier for all of us to spend less time online and find more balance in our everyday lives? Parents and young people will discuss this with participants from politics, business and media addiction counseling.
