Together against cyberbullying! Under this motto, five partner projects from various state media authorities have joined forces to set an example against cyberbullying on November 18. The occasion is the annual international "Stand up to Bullying!" day. With three stirring videos in which a young woman reports on her bullying experiences, young people, parents and educators are to be informed about cyberbullying and its consequences and sensitized to the topic.

Checking emails, making an online appointment and responding to voice messages while the kids watch YouTube videos or post a new story on Instagram. Whether it's school, family or work - our lives are full of digital activities that take up time and play a significant role in our daily lives. But up to what point is media use still okay and at what point do we better set limits for ourselves so that we don't fall into the digital stress trap or even go to the limit online? What skills do adults as well as children and young people need for a healthy balance, and how can binding rules be established for media consumption at work, school and in our free time?

Social media actions, campaign films and information material with help for everyday life: The EU initiative klicksafe will help parents with a campaign to strengthen their offspring against cybergrooming from September 22, 2022.

Social media, messenger, games - when children and young people use the Internet, they quickly come into contact with people they don't really know. This is where cybergrooming, i.e. the targeting of minors on the Internet to initiate sexual contact, is becoming increasingly common. Many of these cybergrooming cases go undetected and unreported. Especially in the pandemic, the numbers have increased significantly: the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) records an increase of 17.6% in 2020 compared to the previous year. In the coming weeks, klicksafe and JUUUPORT.de will provide comprehensive information and educational materials as part of the #WehrDICH #GegenCybergrooming campaign.
