Stop bullying!Online game on cyberbullying, queerophobia and sexism now available

Cyberbullying has been a part of the lives of children and young people for many years. Educational work is essential to prevent cyberbullying. It teaches children to put themselves in the shoes of others and to empathize with the consequences of bullying for those affected. Ideally, they also learn about the legal principles and rules of conduct in our society. This teaches them about the serious consequences that insults and threats can have for the perpetrators. This is exactly what our new online game "Stop bullying! Kimi case", which is now available free of charge.

The interactive game "Stop bullying! Case Kimi" is the German version of the game "Stop la violence" from the French Safer Internet Center. The Kimi case deals with cyberbullying in connection with queer hostility and sexism in sport. The protagonist Kimi is in tenth grade and is suddenly no longer available. Clues are waiting in her room, the school sports hall and the changing room to help the players get to the bottom of Kimi's case.

With the game "Stop bullying! Kimi's case" game, players can learn about concrete options for action and real offers of help in cases of bullying in a playful way in order to set an example together against homophobia, sexism and cyberbullying in sport. The game is aimed at pupils aged between ten and 16 and is available online. In addition to the new "Kimi Case", the "Case Hugo" which we published back in November 2025, is also available. In this game, players investigate a case of bullying at a school and have to find out what happened to Hugo.

Members of the klicksafe Youth Panel and young people from the TASK drama school for children and young people were involved in the German implementation of the two games.
