MEDIA easily explainedNew web portal in plain language strengthens digital participation

With the new portal "MEDIA easily explained", there is now a central point of contact in plain language on topics relating to media literacy - for people with learning difficulties, limited language skills or a need for reading support. The portal of the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for New Media (BLM) is the first in Germany to bundle media literacy offers in plain language. klicksafe is also represented with two offers.

Whether it's the question "What are cookies?", dealing with conspiracy narratives or thinking about your own app use - the portal offers easy-to-understand texts, explanatory films and further material. Professionals who work with the target group will also find a separate section with tips, materials and guidance in everyday language.

The portal www.medien-leicht.de combines BLM's own offers and selected materials from other institutions - and makes the offers accessible in a target group-oriented, accessible and clear manner. A search function and an introductory film facilitate orientation.
