Safer Internet Day 2024New materials on the topic of "Let's talk about porn" published

Safer Internet Day takes place in two weeks' time today. On February 6, we will be focusing on the education and protection of children and young people under the motto "Let's talk about porn". klicksafe has now published extensive material for young people, parents and for use in educational practice. You are welcome to use our materials for your campaigns on Safer Internet Day. This will help you support children and young people growing up in a sexualized world. Help make the Internet a better place on February 6.

For school lessons and extracurricular youth work

Teaching material: The completely revised klicksafe handbook "Let's talk about porn. Sexuality. Identity and Pornography" was developed in cooperation with pro familia Munich and is now available to order from klicksafe. It contains background information for teachers and specialists as well as concrete practical projects and worksheets on the content modules "Life in puberty", "Ideals of beauty in our society", "Pornography on the net", "Sexualized violence and digital border violations".

Video: klicksafe street survey: Is watching porn okay? When did you first come into contact with pornography? How are women and men portrayed in porn? And how do you feel about young people under the age of 18 coming into contact with such content?

For young people aged 14 and over

Quiz: The new klicksafe quiz teaches young people about "porn myths".

Infocard set: In five new info cards, young people receive help with disturbing content, learn to recognize their own boundaries, reflect on porn myths and can get to know good offers on the subject of sex education. Use the cards to get into conversation with young people or simply hand them out. You can now order the info cards in a set from klicksafe.

For parents

Info sheet: The info sheet "Voll Porno! How do I talk to my child about pornographic content online?" provides parents with helpful tips on technical device settings, ways to open a conversation about porn consumption, legal boundaries and information on reporting centers.
