What technical equipment is required?
A digital presentation surface (e.g. projector or smartboard) and a stable connection to the internet are required to participate in the livestream in order to bring the klicksafe school lesson directly into the classroom. For interactive live surveys, it is recommended that all students have a mobile device. However, this is not a prerequisite for participation in the event.
How can I imagine the course of the school lesson?
The digital klicksafe school lesson is based on the structure of a regular lesson - only digital and with exciting, interactive elements. It is didactically sound and follows a clear lesson plan.
The format ismoderated by a moderator who guides the participants through the lesson. The lesson is accompanied by a media education specialist who introduces the young people to the topic in question. Basic terms are explained, current examples are shown and the opportunities and risks of the topic are highlighted. There are interactive live elements such as surveys, quizzes and short polls so that the pupils don't just listen but actively participate. The young people then deepen their new knowledge in small tasks that they solve as a class.
Particularly exciting: invited guests report from the field - for example journalists, experts or even those affected who talk about their personal experience. This gives the young people a direct link to the reality of their lives and helps them understand why the topic is so relevant.
At the end, the most important findings are summarized once again. Participating classes also receive specific tips and free teaching materials that teachers can use to prepare or follow up on the topic with little effort.
Good to know: The klicksafe digital school lesson is deliberately designed so that teachers do not need any prior technical knowledge. All that is needed is a projector or screen, speakers and a stable internet connection - and you're ready to go.
