The German multimedia award mb21

The countdown is on! Only one week left until the submission deadline

The German Multimedia Award mb21 is a platform for multimedia projects and ideas. Since 1998, the competition has been supporting young media makers from all over Germany and honoring their digital works. Until 06 August 2017 , children, teenagers and young adults up to the age of 25 can submit their multimedia projects. You can enter the competition alone, with a group, a school class or as a leisure project.

What can be submitted?

It doesn't matter whether apps, games or software are programmed, a performance or installation is developed, computer animations, websites, blogs or video channels are designed: Multimedia is about linking a wide variety of media - online and offline. Each participant can decide for themselves how and to what extent these are combined. The entries will be judged in five age groups and several special categories.

Annual theme: BIG DADA

Whether we like it or not, we leave digital traces everywhere. The huge amounts of data that are growing every day hold many opportunities, but at the same time raise many questions about how to deal with this information. With the annual theme BIG DADA, the German Multimedia Award mb21 wants to take up this discourse and actively shape it.
