Safer Internet Day (SID) 2026 was celebrated worldwide on February 10. Together with the partners of the Safer Internet DE association, klicksafe is implementing the motto "AI and me. In an artificial relationship." with a wide range of offers. With our klicksafe school lesson, we were able to sensitize over 50,000 pupils throughout Germany at the SID. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this year's SID such a success! The SID may be over, but there are still many more events to come throughout February! The Youth Internet Monitor is an initiative of Saferinternet.at and presents current data on the social media use of Austria's young people. This is the 11th time that 500 young people aged 11 to 17 from all over Austria have been surveyed. The top 6 most popular platforms have remained the same as last year. The Federal Agency for the Protection of Children and Young People in the Media (BzKJ) and klicksafe are intensifying their cooperation: From January 2026, the partnership will be placed on a new basis, financially supported by the BzKJ.
