Web seminar: "Deep Fake. Deep Impact. How young people recognize deepfakes and learn to critically question the consequences."

Deepfakes can be impressive, entertaining and funny. And also a helpful tool that can be used to lower barriers and promote participation, for example. On the other hand, the technology is also being misused. For example, AI can be used to create media content that supposedly shows people naked or performing sexual acts. Deepfakes are also repeatedly used to spread targeted political disinformation.
