klicksafe asks... (14): What are the benefits of AI in schools?
Content
Schools should prepare children and young people well for (professional) life. This is why the topic of artificial intelligence increasingly belongs in schools. On the one hand, as a tool that is used by pupils and teaching staff themselves. On the other hand, AI should also be the subject of critical debate. In this podcast episode, we have invited Dr. Patrick Bronner to find out how schools can use AI sensibly and address it in the classroom. He teaches mathematics and physics at a grammar school and also works as a trainer at the Seminar for Didactics and Teacher Training in Freiburg. Back in 2016, he was awarded the German Teacher Prize for the use of smartphones in the classroom. He regularly publishes texts on the topic of "Schools on the way to the digital age" and is also increasingly concerned with the topic of artificial intelligence in this context.
